Past that, chapter two fails to launch and the developer's forum participation, twitter, and website updates seemed to completely disappear a few years ago, so I have little hope of that being corrected. Lastly, the game has no fullscreen/resolution controls, so on a 4K monitor, the text and clues are almost unreadable.. As a computer science student this game feels me with joy, it has a linux based command terminal and rewarding puzzles. The story is also intriguing and quite fascinating, but above all you use real world knowledge and encourages you to learn new things using the internet. From data encryption to philosophy this game is 10/10.. Right at the start I have to say, that if you don't like looking in dozens of files for data (at the start) or hints for data (at the end), you're gonna hate this game, because it's mostly that. Reading and reading, and then reading again to be sure you haven't missed anything when you get stuck.But if you can overcome that, Mu Complex is one of the greatest think-outside-of-the-box games I've ever seen. You can't find everything in the game itself, you have to use internet, math or maps to succeed and you have to find out when is the time.I've played this game back when it was free on Kongregate and even though I still feel cheated about it being taken down, I've payed for it, replayed it and had the same amount of fun and challenge as before.P.S. The puzzles and the story are in my opinion very nice.If you are a fan of puzzles, you definitely need to play Mu Complex ^^. This is a very capturing and immersive game.The mechanics are solid and easy to learn, and the story is highly captivating and creative. I launched it to give it a try on one of my lunch breaks at work, and stayed over-time just cuz I couldn't leave it (literally). When I had to leave, I made sure I completed it when I reached home. The story is that captivating.The puzzles are great too and solving them is satisfying. Awesome achievements too.I greatly recommend this game for anyone from casual to hardcore gamers. It's a must play in my opinion.
